LKV Architects Receives Award

From Preservation Idaho: We are not only thrilled to be having our annual Orchids & Onions awards ceremony and luncheon inside the historic Ada County Courthouse, but also to be honoring the University of Idaho Law & Justice Learning Center and LKV Architects as a recipient of an award for Contribution to Historic Preservation for their recent renovation of the building. This 1938 Works Progress Administration gem... features beautiful and controversial hand-painted murals.

New Jerome High Gym, Cafeteria Under Construction

From Magic Valley Times-News: A major project is underway at Jerome High School to build a second gymnasium and new cafeteria. Both will be complete by summer, 2016. This summer, work wrapped up on an eight-classroom addition on the school’s east side. Jerome High’s math department is now using the space. Other projects at Jerome High include a science lab, art room and drama room. Parking lots are being expanded and repaved. The auditorium will also be renovated.
