LKV Architects was retained by the State of Idaho and the University of Idaho for a multi-phased renovation of the Old Ada County Courthouse Building in Capitol Mall. Renovations included an upgrade of all infrastructure and extensive interior remodeling. The renovation incorporated items, such as window replacements, which were carefully researched to maintain the historical nature of the building, and the preservation of interior marble walls and flooring. Additional design elements introduced state-of-the-art video conferencing equipment and up-to-date finishes to welcome the University of Idaho’s Third Year Law Program and the Supreme Court Law Library.
