LKV Architects provided architectural services on an 11,200 square foot administration office facility for Morrow County in Heppner, Oregon. The two-story structure is adjacent to a century-old historic courthouse on a sloped site. The selected design is complementary to the courthouse materials and access between the two buildings was created.

The main entrance is on the upper floor which includes the public health offices, administration, and commissioners’ offices. The lower floor houses the special transportation, juvenile services, and accounting departments. The new facility brought the county departments into one building. In certain cases, parking and ADA accessibility were a great improvement for patrons. The new building also provides two conference rooms for county officials and is available for general public use.
